OUR COMPANY
It´s been eight decades since our company was founded, but more than three centuries of tradition that have transcended through it,
firmly maintaining in each step the solid foundation in which it was built, strictly following the ideals our ancestors inherited to us.
These same ideals have instilled in us, -generation after generation- the strength and courage to do things as they should be done.
THE ORIGIN OF OUR FAMILY
1761
The family is a co-founder of the town of Arandas, where they plant the first 20,000 agaves on their land.
1821
Spanish spirits are difficult to import to Mexico, so the interest on Mexican distillates arises, specifically "agave spirits", including Tequila.
1904
The first distillery that produces Tequila is established in Arandas, Jalisco.
1938
La Arandina distillery is founded, our starting point as a company.
1970
The Arandina takes on a new administration that leads it to compete on an international level. To this day, the family´s third generation holds the reins of the company and continues the legacy of those who saw it grow.
1974
Tequila obtains the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP), as published in Mexico´s Official Journal of the Federation. This publication establishes the ownership of Tequila to Mexico.
1992
There is a boom in Tequila´s awareness and consumption. The tequila industry is transformed from a profitable business, to a source of wealth for Mexico.
2004
Our company´s CEO is awarded with the Woman Entrepreneur Award 2004, delivered by Mexico´s Ex-president Vicente Fox Quesada.
Present day
Gran Dinastía is a family-owned business with presence in five continents, award-winning products and environmental certification that demonstrates our continued effort to stay at the forefront of the Tequila industry.

OUR TERROIR
Gran Dinastia is not only a name, it is a company that knows and lives the entire process of creating tequila.
Located in the Highlands of Jalisco, we own a large expanse of land rich in minerals where we grow agave, control it´s quality and for over 80 years, take care of it´s distillation.

We are committed to remain always a green company. We have participated in many different programs to ensure that our production process complies with all environmental regulations and will continue to do so in the future. We are one of the few companies in the category that have been certified under the SEMADET Green Enterprise Program.
